Cleaning

Vita Student prides itself on premium lifestyle offerings and facilities; our communal areas must be cleaned and maintained to a high standard throughout the shift

Objective & Responsibilities

  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors.

  • Dust and wipe surfaces, furniture, and fixtures.

  • Empty bins and dispose of waste safely.

  • Clean and disinfect communal bathrooms

  • Polish windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors.

  • Follow established health & safety guidelines, including the proper use of PPE.

  • Handle cleaning chemicals in compliance with Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) guidelines

  • Report maintenance issues, hazards, or damages accordingly

  • Replenish cleaning supplies and toiletries as required

Areas that require cleaning will include:

  • Reception area

  • Reception toilets

  • Social hubs

  • Cinema rooms

  • Games rooms

  • Laundry rooms

  • Leisure / gym suites

  • Study hubs

  • Communal dining areas

Grounds Maintenance

Our external grounds are often the first impression of our facilities. It’s vital that our external grounds are kept to a high standard, whether this is the entrance to our site or our outside social hubs. This will involve outdoor sweeping, tidying & cleaning as required
