Our Breakfast Customer Service Assistants are responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting a variety of breakfast foods in a timely manner, ensuring quality standards are met, while maintaining a clean and organised kitchen workspace.
Objective & Responsibilities

Hot Food
Cook / heat food to the required temperature. Our hot breakfast includes food products such as sausages (pork & vegetarian), hash browns and omelettes. All hot food is pre-prepared, cooked & frozen in advance.

Fresh Produce
Our fresh produce includes fruits & vegetables. Thoroughly wash, peel, chop, slice fresh fruits and vegetables according to recipe specifications. Properly store produce to maintain freshness and quality. Identify and discard any spoiled or damaged produce.

Dairy Products
Prepare dairy-centric breakfast items like yogurt, cheese platters and eggs.

Food Delivery & Presentation
Adhere to breakfast schedule, prepare & present all food items hygienically, safely and aesthetically. Ensure all food items are well replenished throughout the breakfast service.

Food Safety and Hygiene
Adhere to strict food safety guidelines, including proper handling and storage of fresh produce. Maintain a clean and sanitised work area, record data on health & safety online data management system.

Inventory Management
Monitor produce stock levels and communicate needs to the kitchen manager. Assist in ordering produce to maintain appropriate inventory.
Temperature Checks
Monitor food temperatures throughout the food lifecycle, from receiving deliveries to serving customers ensuring food safety and prevention of the growth of harmful bacteria.
Check the temperature of food at the start and end of service
Check the temperature of food at least every two hours
Check fridge and freezer temperatures at least once per day
Keep thermometers clean. Clean and disinfect the probe with probe wipes before probing food
Maintain records of temperature checks
Check calibration records
