Hourly Rate: £13
Working Hours: 9am – 5pm. 30 hours per week
Contract Duration: This is a seasonal opportunity during the summer months.

We’re looking for a seasonal Painter & Decorator to improve the appearance of our student properties ahead of the next intake of Students in September.
Our Painter & Decorator
Is responsible for the painting and finishing of interior and exterior surfaces of buildings. This includes preparing surfaces, selecting and applying appropriate materials (paint, wallpaper, finishes), and ensuring a high standard of workmanship. The goal is to improve the appearance and protect surfaces from damage.
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, filling cracks and holes, and applying undercoats.
- Mix and match paint colours to desired specifications.
- Apply paint, varnish, wallpaper, and other finishes to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces.
- Use brushes, rollers, or spray equipment to apply coatings.
- Clear / prepare rooms and cover surfaces with cloths or masking tape to protect areas not being painted.
- Hang wallpaper and other decorative wall coverings.
- Work from ladders, scaffolds, or other platforms to reach high areas.
- Ensure work meets quality standards and adheres to safety and environmental regulations.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Who we want to join our team…
Professional Experience
- Apprenticeship or on-the-job training preferred.
- Proven experience as a painter and decorator or in a similar role.
